Position Description:

Electronic Microscope Center of GTIIT (https://sites.gtiit.edu.cn/emc/zh/) is well-equipped with advanced electron microscopes as well as an instrumentation for sample preparation in a cutting-edge technical environment. It is now looking for a lab manager/lab technician to maintain dual-beam electron microscopes and provide technical support for users.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Operate and maintain dual-beam electron microscopes and related facilities (including hardware and software)

·        Provide testing services and technical support for dual-beam electron microscopes for teachers, students, research groups and companies

·        Participate in the technological innovation and scientific research work arranged by the platform

·       Keep learning and applying new technologies and methods;

·       Conduct management for dual-beam electron microscope users, improve platform construction, and write relevant feedback and reports;

·       Actively assist team members in their work when necessary and complete other tasks assigned by the platform supervisor.

Required Job Specifications:

·       Required qualification / academic degree: Master or PhD in materials, semiconductors, physics or relevant fields

·       Required experience:  1) Have a command of knowledge in Electron Microscope    2) More than two-year of experiences in operation, use and research of Electron Microscope

Required Job Competencies:     

·       Language ability: Chinese (native) & English (fluent)
