Dr. Roman Kreiserman is biophysicist and optics specialist with research interest that combines experimental, numerical and theoretical work. In his M.Sc., 2012-2014 in Mordechai Segev's lab, the research focused on Anderson Localization and solitons in optically dynamically disordered systems. In his PhD, from 2014 to 2018, he studied single-molecule biophysics using optical tweezers in Ariel Kaplan's lab. The main research interest during the PhD was the mechanics of membrane fusion and short range interactions (hydrodynamic and static surface forces) between colloids. Furthermore, during his PhD he constructed an optical setup of high-resolution optical tweezers combined with single-molecule fluorescence microscopy which is used in Kaplan lab.
