Katja Sagerschnig is a differential geometer interested in geometric structures (especially those that admit an equivalent description as certain Cartan geometries) and applications of representation theory in geometry and physics. She obtained her PhD from the University of Vienna in 2008. She has held postdoc positions at the Australian National University, the University of Vienna, the Politecnico di Torino, and since 2018 she is Assistant professor at the Center for Theoretical Physics PAS in Warsaw.
