Silvia Menchón is a theoretical physicist working in stochastic processes and their applications in biophysics, social physics, and machine learning.
She obtained her Master degree and PhD in Physics from National University of Córdoba, Argentina. She held postdoctoral positions at the Enrique Gaviola Institute, Argentina; KU Leuven and VIB, (IIF- Marie Curie Actions), Belgium; and Radboud University, (Radboud Excellence Initiative), The Netherlands.
Currently, she is at the Argentinean National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) where she is an associate researcher, as well as at the National University of Córdoba, where she is an associate professor. She has broad experience teaching both Mathematics and Physics.
