Guillaume Emmanuel Hoffmann is an Assistant Researcher at CONICET (National Scientific and Technical Research Council) in Argentina and a Visiting Assistant Professor at GTIIT, where he teaches courses in computer science and logic since 2021.
Dr. Hoffmann obtained his engineering degree in software development from Télécom Nancy in 2006, followed by a Master's degree in computational linguistics and a Ph.D. in computer science from Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy, France, in 2007 and 2010, respectively.
After completing his Ph.D., he held postdoctoral positions at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina, where he later became an Assistant Researcher at CONICET. His research interests include computational logic (modal logics, tableaux systems), algorithmic complexity, satellite remote sensing, and free and open-source software development.
Dr. Hoffmann has taught at institutions in France, Argentina, and China, including Université Henri Poincaré, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, and Universidad Nacional de San Juan, and has contributed to Texas Tech University’s International Engineering Program. He also mentored students in the Google Summer of Code program, and led international collaborative research projects.
