Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2014. He subsequently embarked on an academic journey dedicated to collaborative research. During this journey, he had the privilege of serving as a Lady Davis Postdoctoral Fellow at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel, collaborating with Professor Adi Nusser.
After this enriching experience, Dr. Tiwari's academic path led him to the National Astronomical Observatories CAS in Beijing, where he actively contributed to a variety of cosmology-related projects. His dedication led to the establishment of official collaborations between SDSS and LOFAR radio surveys. During his tenure at the observatory, he was honored with a President's International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI) fellowship and received grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
After nearly six years at the National Astronomical Observatories CAS in Beijing, Dr. Tiwari embarked on a new phase in his career. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Physics Program at GTIIT, where his commitment to research and academia continues to have a positive impact.
In his research, Dr. Tiwari focuses on the exploration of the large-scale structure through galaxy surveys, with a particular emphasis on the study of radio galaxy catalogs from various surveys. His current work primarily involves the analysis of the LoTSS catalog to extract cosmological signals. Additionally, he is actively exploring cosmology projects with the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) survey, where he contributes as an associate member of the SKA cosmology science working group.
